The DigiTales Award is an innovative competition providing the primary and secondary students the opportunity to participate in an interactive story writing process. It gives students the chance to unleash the writer, artist, storyteller, and techie in them set in a fun and exciting platform. It is an easy and enjoyable way to develop writing, speaking, and presentation skills using the Newsmaker software.
The competition is open to all primary and secondary students in Singapore aged between 10 to14. All entries submitted must be in English with the following themes to choose from:
- Stories my Parents Told Me
- Tales from my Grandparents
This year’s theme focuses on family relationships and legacy. Entries must include the following:
- Between 3 to 5 minutes of narration
- A video resolution of 640 x 480
- A video duration of 5 minutes
The required video format is Windows Media Video (WMV).
