Jovyn Lim
I think the Young Author Award is a very good platform for students to discover their creativity and imagination. Writing transports us to another world where anything can exist and possibilities are limitless. Writing allows us to put our dreams and nightmares on paper. This is why I like writing. I started writing when I was in kindergarten. Back then, the only thing I knew how to write was fantasy. Now, however, I have expanded the range of genres I can write, including mystery stories. The YAA gives me an opportunity to let my imagination flow and drives me to improve my writing.
