Fung Zhuowen
I am Fung Zhuowen, twelve years old, from Primary 6A in Xingnan Primary School. Having no prior experience of writing any novel, it was a chance for me to express my thoughts and feelings. In the three-quarter-year difference, I sat for my CA1, SA1. and studied for PSLE, the most important examination in the primary level, as far as choosing schools are concerned.
However, I still read books from time to time. My favorite books are those by Jeff Kinney in the ‘Diary Of A Wimpy Kid’ series. They are a source of humor and help to release stress. My favorite authors are Enid Blyton, Roald Dahl, and Suzanne Collins, author of ‘The Hunger Games’, ‘Catching Fire’, and ‘Mockingjay’. All of their books are a great source of inspiration. Roald Dahl writes uniquely and invents new words in his stories.
However, I think my greatest inspiration came from Korean dramas, with their twisted plots and revenge-filled backgrounds. Revenge makes way for a riveting plot that engages the audience with questions and doubts. The ingenious scriptwriters think of ways to keep the reader in suspense and anticipation. If I could be granted any wish, I would ask for a MAGIC PEN that can write down the words I say so that the words will always be neat when I reach the end. I would also make a wish to save energy.
