Nguyen Khanh Quan
I named myself Atlas, I don’t usually like talking about myself, but here we go. This year I’m the sweet age of 13, and I’ve somehow had two poems published. I spend most of my time studying, reading, writing, or getting way too deep into fandom stuff. I‘m pretty nerdy if I do say so myself. I love movies, books, and media that not many others seems to care about as much as I do. Writing has always been an important outlet for me, I actually started out writing fanfiction, and now I do creative writing too.

The fog never lifts in this town. It seeps into your lungs, your Adventure thoughts, your memory. When bodies start turning up torn apart, the priest calls it punishment and the people call it proof: the wolf walks among them. I‘m just the scribe, meant to record what happens, not question it. The fog hides everything – names, faces, intentions, the things that rot beneath faith. Because in this town, no one really knows who the monster is.
