I am very adventurous and bold, and captivated by Greek mythology. Hence, my book has many different kinds of scary monsters attacking the main character Johnny. When I wrote the story, I wanted it to be action-packed, with many swords slashing and clashing together.

However, during that time, I had no experience in writing. Thus I had to find other books to find ways to write the book in a proper way. My hard work paid off after I finished writing my book. Every time I read the soft copy of my book, I would feel proud of myself, being able to write a book on my own at such a young age.

When I received the e-mail saying that I had been shortlisted for the Young Author Awards, I was extremely satisfied with my work. Now that my book can be sold, I want to spread the word that age is not the limit to writing, but it is the imagination that is the limit. As long as you have the ability to think, you will be able to write.

Do not think that if you are young, it means that you cannot write a book. In fact, you can write an even more interesting book since you have a fertile imagination at a young age. Fantasies will come alive if you can make them so.
