Hello, my name is Amelia Cheng. Reading and writing are my favourite pastimes. Reading influenced me to pick up writing. To me, writing is very fun, exciting and enjoyable because I get to write whatever I want and express myself in words. This also gave me ways to communicate in writing through various modes such as messages, emails etc. Overall, I love writing! One day, my teacher informed me that I had been selected into the YAS programme. The experience was great and I learnt a lot. And that was the point where I developed my dream of being an author.
