I’m a writer drawn to the wonders of the human condition—sorrow, hope, and uncertainty. I write to discover how everyday people cope with extraordinary circumstances, most often using symbolism and disturbing realism. My writing tends toward reflective, evocative prose, where subtle hints contain some extraordinary truths. I believe stories must leave their impression—disturbing or comforting, but never recalled. Aside from writing, I am always observant, observing how people talk, break, heal, and evolve. For every story that I weave, it is indeed a beacon of light to others who are walking in the dark.
