Cyprian was with the Ministry of Education for more than two decades, as a teacher in St Gabriel’s Primary School. He served as coordinator and curriculum developer for religious education and character development. He was awarded the National Day Long Service Award by the President of the Republic of Singapore in 2012 and is currently a freelance English educator. He resides in Singapore with his wife, Marjorie, and their seven children. He holds a Master of Education from Monash University. His interest in his mother’s bedtime stories morphed into a hobby that has become a passion. His wish is for many others to discover the joys he has experienced in getting to know and preserve his roots.
