I’m 15 this year and I’ve been writing since Primary 5. I loved books from a young age; I guess that’s what inspired me to be so passionate about writing. When I started reading books, I fell in love with how such simple words can come together and flow into an amazing story.

Although my writing skills are slightly above mediocre, I never ceased writing. The experience I gained from writing boldly is priceless. I say that if you’re passionate about writing, do write about the topic that holds your interest. Keep writing to identify your own writing style. For me, it was fiction, particularly Greek mythology. I’m glad to have written The Scythe of Kronos, even though it’s nowhere close to perfection, and I’ll once again urge others to take the first step and just write.
